I am a venture capitalist with GGV Capital in Menlo Park, CA. Prior to joining GGV in 2008, I spent 13 years as an entrepreneur and CEO, starting two different companies (one worked and was acquired by VeriSign, one didn’t). I travel to China frequently to spend time with our teams in Shanghai and Beijing, hence the name of this blog (flight time approximately 13 hrs). The header photo is a shot I took with my Nikon D90 near the Songzanlin Monastery in Shangri-La, Yunnan Province, China.
I am passionate about kids and education, and in 2013 I co-founded Tri Valley YEAH with the goal of teaching kids about technology and computer science.
The views and posts on this blog are my own and do not necessarily represent the views of GGV Capital.
